| The AthoTurnbull Clan (sans Nick) headed to Europe in December 2007 for a long break. The few "gottchas" made no difference... Paulie had a book that needed completion and Stephen tried to stay on top of work stuff. The team left James in England where he was to stay on a few weeks. It all went smooth as silk apart from the last day when (brain shrunk by flu virus) Stephen left all passports and his wallet in a cab in Singapore. By some cosmic grace, his brother Jon (who had just moved to Singapore) had just taken the driver's card as he liked him. A call was made, the driver locked the next passenger in the car when it was obvious he had pinched one of the passports, and the universe was in harmony again when the driver (the National Hero, Mr joseph Chang) returned them. A grand adventure came to a close as the team touched down in Brisbane mid January. |
