May 5-9 2004... a quick NZ trip

Stephen had 3 lectures to give in 3 days in New Zealand- Auckland, Palmerston North and Dunedin. What joy. Especially the last gig- the flight from Palmie-Christchurch-Dunedin flew around Dunedin twice before deciding the cross winds were too strong to land. Back to Chriustchurch we went & eventually arrived in Dunedin at 2:00am by bus. A 9am start meant an already weary Stephen become wearier. Recuperation was in the form of a quick visit of Zolie and Robyn in Christchurch. Jim and Stephen were there about a year before & it is just as nice. Stephen traveled plenty whilst Jim was on his school trip to China.
