March 20th : We hadn't heard from Nick a while. They have been the Bay Islands (Utilla) off Honduras for a week or so. The satellite connection seems to be up and down so internet access is a challenge. His pal Michael is with them and they went for dives (Beck and Michael did their course) which would be great apart from the fact that his sinuses were pretty average. As he says, " I think im spoilt growing up on the biggest and best reef in the world..they were pretty shitty to be honest, did a wreck that was aight, but doesnt compare to the one i did in bali thats for sure." The place is, like Belize, an ex-English colony. Nick says it's a "wierd place thats for sure thay have there own rough type of english dialect which is bizare, seeing white green eyed blonde hair old men totally out of touch with the world speaking creole, english descendants me thinks". The are still having interesting adventures- whilst looking for a bed they met a drunk cop and "he wanted us to come back to his house but i wasnt really comfortable around a drunk guy with a loaded swith n wesson". Sensible! They are heading to Honduras and all sounds well. Apart from a case of tinea and beaten up feet it seems.
