Jim's best shots from his month in China May 2004

Jim spent 4 weeks in Beijing with 18 school pals. Although he took 240 shots, these are his favourite. He not only used his iPod to store the piles of photos, but used it to record a few ambient Beijing sounds. You'll find one of these at the bottom of the photos. Jim wrote the background music in "Garageband" from snippets of Cantonese Opera and funky beats. He calls it "Excessively Corpulent ChinaTown" and wrote it for a party he had when the trip was postponed earlier in the year because of Avian Flu scares. Check out another Chinese composition & the party invite. You will need QuickTime for the music (Mac or PC).

The team prepare to drop him to the airport for his departure April 20th.
