Friend Pauline Turnbull and Olivia played host to Stephen for a few days. Very relaxing and fun. A ferry ride to Waiheke Island on Sunday saw them tootle around a hire car to lunch in a vineyard. Then Pauline's pals Margo and Bill made a lovely meal. Secret messages were passed on by Olivia and Bill and Margo's daughter from the Prime Minister.

We went sailing on the harbour on Monday, Stephen got to read an interesting Italian book ("I'm Not scared" by Niccolo Ammaniti). All in all, an appreciated break!
