What a treat! Paulie planned a picnic. Friend Yolande planned an art and architecture roadtrip, and off we went! Tracking the history and art of one of her faourite sculptors, we spent a busy, informative and fun day cruising through the backroads of the Tarn and Tarn et Garonne departments.

Paulie had a picnic planned and cooked accordingly...
Yolande has a surprise tour planned. It started at nearby Caylus and she had a great itinerary drawn up.
Hidden inside a work by sculptor Ossipe Zadkine. Interesting story you can look up - Russian. In the 20s he hung out with Chagall, Modigliani, and the other boys in the band.
Time to picnic. Bad Weather? What weather ?
As a sculptor herself, Yolande raised a glass to Zadkine.
In Cahors Paulie bumps into a fellow All Black
The cathedral in Cahors is an archiectural mixture - two scoops of Byzantine dome, a dash of Romanesque, and an optional pinch of Gothic.
