The Long Farewell

It's hard to believe six years has gone by since pals Maryann and Phil Long arrived in Australia. It doesn't seem that long ago that we introduced them to friends who ended up as colleagues, nor that long since they saw in their 1st Aussie New Year.

Some nice holidays were spent together in the sub tropics as well as further south - the Athoman photo archive records many joint celebrations and good times. Having had numerous work farewells at the university, it was time on Oct 19th to say farewell to others friends before heading off to new challenges at the University of Austin, Texas on the 22nd. They will be missed.
