Quick French Mission in Sydney

Site updated on 16 Nov 2014

With a bit over 9 weeks until Paulie and Stephen relocate to Europe for a while, it was time to apply for their Long Stay French Visas. So off to Sydney they went on November 14th. Which was good timing- it was a public holiday in Brisbane given President Obama, Putin, and their pals were flying in for the G 20 meeting. Despite Stephen messing up some of the paperwork, the French immigration loosened up a bit when he procliamed, "Excusez-moi. Je suis stupide!". She agreed and submitted both applications.

The rest of the day day was spent in town. They caught the movie "Pride" at Circular Quay, studied some art, and ate at a French bistro before busing back to their Randwick pad. A log walk on Saturday was timed to catch up with Ex Apple pal Chris Feil and his wife Kathy. Fingers crossed the visas are processed in time for a quick New Zealand trip on January 10.
