Domestic life in July was lovely. In between three work trips to Sydney (one shared with Paulie), the clan enjoyed a very livable winter. Jon Atherton dropped in from Singapore and Stephen caught up with his pal Allen from Eire who he hasn't seen since he attended his Dublin wedding in 1993. Allen is now an academic at University College Dublin.

Stephen's pals Jodie and Satoru were out from Colorado and we were in Maleny when they arrived after visiting the Outridge Clan. We attended Owen's birthday dinner on the 28th but missed Sam Atherton's on the 29th because of a prior booking :-( Nick moved in with friend Rebekah into a charming flat in West End.

Toward the end of the month, we called in the troops and started to rennovate a very dated family bathroom.
