AUC not to be

Stephen was back in Melbourne 25th - 28th September to attend 2 AUC events. The geekie dev/world.2012 conference was filled with 120 creative and clever computer scientists who shared their wisdom regarding developing Mac software and Apps for iPhone and iPad. Stephen even understood some of it.

Then after a day at an event at The University of Melbourne where Stephen presented, he attended the AUC dinner and general meeting. Stephen was an AUC member in the 90s when at The University of Queensland, and indeed was on the executive briefly, so he was sad that this will probably be the last AUC physical meeting. Stephen's company has decided to cease funding the organisation that runs conferences and trains staff and students. A video celebrates their history.

The last 5 photos are care of AUC Chair, Tony Gray.
