Christmas in England

Stephen, Olivia, and Paulie jumped on a plane to England on December 20th. Stephen and Paulie's last visit with James was earlier in the year. The crew had a full agenda which included day trips to Buckingham and Cambridge; a lovely Christmas lunch with Neil's family in Bicster (Sally and Mervyn put on a feast!); a Boxing Day trip to Liphook in Hampshire to see friends Ree and Neil (and clan) who were over from Spain (Stephen stayed in their Boston flat earlier in the month) ; and a drive to Somerset to deliver Olivia to her pal Chloe's Grandparents. On the way to their farm the team held a small ceremony on the beach at Weston-super-Mare at the mouth of the Bristol Channel - Terry had wanted her ashes sent to sea, and given her little known but beloved father was English and mother's clan were Irish, what an appropriate place.

Stephen and Paulie headed to France for an adventure on the 29th. At some stage Olivia planned to catch up with Paulie and Stephen before returning to Brisbane to start Uni.
