Sept 10th from James: "Big hello from Dublin! And though it's been so wonderful camping in the beautiful countryside, it's a bit of a relief to be back in a city. Though the smog's a bit of a surprise! And we've been camping with some wonderful people over the past two nights, at the Tara Solidarity Vigil. So you might've heard of what it's about - but the Irish gov. are trying to build the M3 motorway through the sacred site of Tara, which is an ancient site and burial ground dating way way back. The Tara Solidarity Vigil camped for the past two years on the hill of Tara protesting, until earlier this year they were evicted and a few were arrested - they're now camping in a friendly farmer's field - still on Tara but not on the main site. Their plan instead of the M3 includes spending the money on strong mass transit options for commuters and helping to preserve the land instead. You can have a look at their site: www.tarapixie.net". Stephen put the guys up for a night on the 9th just for a birthday treat - time to catch up with showering and washing

Sept 15th 2008: James called last night and the guys are currently around Carlisle en route to Scotland. The plan is still on for the October trip to Greece, followed by some work and then a break in Spain.

Nick sent some photos today as well and had a chat to Stephen. The computer video camera revealed a new artistic addition on Nicks' lower back (see below). He and Michael had a cool 6 nights in Uraguay. He is considering getting to Chile earlier than planned and Canada by the end of the year.

James Sept 22nd 2008: James discovered that Stephens' planned work trip next month has been cancelled (a quick UK stop over). On the way from up north a couple of days back James wrote "LOVE the accent - so funny! We say "Loovaley" (as in, lovely), over and over! Ha ha!. Stayed with Amy's old boss' mother in a town called Todmorden for the past couple of nights". On an iChat last night the update had them heading for London and in a camp ground in Leicester. Stephen noticed something under his lip. The next page shows what.
From a James email

Sept 24th 2008: "OMGOSH EXCITING!!! :)
That is so wonderful! Yayyyy!!! And thank you - the ceremony was lovely -- under a supposedly 2000 to 4000 year old Yew tree; gorgeous!
Now in Glastonbury. Please excuse my language, but it seriously is the best f*cking place ever! I really really really really really really really really really (times a million) love it. Every second shop is a Pagan store and the rest are organic cafés. We're sitting now in a Wi-Fi café near the Goddess Temple eating organic vegan ginger slices and drinking nettle tea. And such power of the place! It feels like a rejuvenating awakening. And the Tor is so beautiful! Hopefully we're going to camp on it or near it tonight.")

October 6th: Stephen had nice long chats with both of the Lads. James had just returned with his pals after a few days in Brighton. He was off to London and then Greece. Nick was in Argentina but gearing up to head to Chile.

October 8th 2008 from James: "Quick hello from Athina! How exciting. I'm loving this city. That means, I haven't been pick pocketed yet and I've only been ripped off slightly. I hotel is so grunge- but in a lovely way. Very cheap too! 40something euros for two nights for all of us. No sheets on the bed though hahaha! But we don't want them -- it's SO HOT!
Plus everyone is hot. I've decided Greek people are quite lovely. Free wi-fi so I'll try and send some photos tomorrow if I take some good ones! Acropolis etc. I think. Then Mykonos the day after." Go here to see James in Athes in 2001
