1993 continued
During the easter break in April we headed over to Amsterdam. Now we had Elizabeths' brother Derek visiting. Christa was in the mood for coffee with the Atherton men and the Sarah joined us for the trip. We think the spare legs at the back are Jims'!
To the right are the Atho men in Warwick in May. We spent the day there with Grandma and Grandpa who came over to Oxford for study leave for a month.

In August Stephen, Nick and Jim drove from England (we took a ferry to Spain) to Portugal. Elizabeth flew down and met us in Lisbon. We stayed in a friends house in Setubal and drove around. Citra was great and here in Evora, Nick enjoyed the Chapel of Bones (far right). Yes, real bones! Funny guys those monks.

Stephens' brother Jon came to visit in December and shows Jim where his mum is working at the John Radcliffe Hospital (below). Jon joined everyone at a Christmas dinner
