A busy month. Stephen and Paulie zip around Adelaide and South East Queensland, Stephen has work in Canberra and Melbourne, Nick has a rough time in Brisbane, James and Keno travel from Oxford to Germany and France as well as some work travel locally in England, and Olivia and James have a break in Western Australia and host the Oldies from Brisbane in Adelaide.

July 1st -Paulie & Stephen flew into Adelaide the night before. Being a work day, Stephen worked from their B & B Olivia took the day off and the gals went to the gallery for the 1st Friday of the month Gallery tour. In post War Japan the avant-garde group Sōdeisha left the tradition of functionality and minimalism familiar in Japanese ceramic objects. Woman also joined this ceramicist movement Stephen headed to meet the gals for some music and a wine at the gallery
. Then headed to Sky City where James was performing in a bar Athocinema has a snippet of the performance A busy day deserved a treat - to the funky Spanish restaurant, Udaberri Pintxos Y Vino
July 2nd - Olivia arranges some cool outings in the McLaren Vale region stating with the Alpha Box & Dice vineyard . . .

. In Germany the lads were having their own adventures . July 3 - Jane (Andrews) and David Barker join us for the Box Hill Creek walk on the outskirts of the city

And new tickets purchased to get home in time to jump on a plane to Canberra in the morning) July 4th - a tired Stephen makes it to Canberra  for an event he worked on which kicks off with drinks and nibbles
Canadian High Commissioner H.E. Mark Glauser welcomes folks to his residence Stephen gets the ball rolling for Paul LeBlanc's presentation  and a panel session (a snippet of the gig is on AthoCinema) into the presentation
Invitees included a number of Vice-Chancellors, DVCs and others Tony takes over to mediate the panel session July 5th- after a successful evening, Stephen sees the sun rise over the home of Aussie democracy And then sets up his hotel room for a Zoom meeting with Charles Sturt Uni and colleagues.
A few interesting gatherings as part of the conference in town. The main dinner in Parliament House July 7 - Stephen is on the stand at the Universities Australia conference July 7 and 8 - James and Keno head to Paris after visiting family in Germany. They see well known sites like Sacré-Cœur Basilica A new place to see- the Cimetière de Montmartre (under a road)
July 17 - The Adelaide crew set up for a wine tasting that Olivia arranged with the Brisbane and Oxford crew This time Stephen ensured we all had the same wines to taste - a German Pinot Gris . And a Tasmanian Pinot Noir
July 20 - some house chores July 20 - 23rd . James and Olivia head to Exmouth in Western Australia for a break And some diving .
. Whale watching relaxing Meanwhile a quick local visit to the Sunshine Coast for Stephen and Paulie

Rosie misses seeing the Frogmouth being being on a rare visit to the garden on the other side of the house July 28 - Stephen visits  the Yarra Valley to work with his Pal & boss Tony. A morning jog Where Stephen meets some deer animals
July 30 - Stephen leaves chilly and lovely Warburton to return home July 30- James had to get back for weekend gigs, so Olivia drops in on pal Maddie in Perth and environs en route to Adelaide . .
July 31 - Near Beaudesert an hour away from home, the "Overflow Estate" vineyard Not great wine, but lovely views A tiring month for all.
