2nd April -Olivia and the gals went camping for a few nights at Deep Creek Conservation Park, on Fleurieu Peninsula south of Adelaide . . .

8th April - a cycle into town Followed by a chat with Rosie. That evening, Stef Dunlop's exhibition. Mother-in-law and daughter-in-law talk art as do Paulie and Halka. Stef chats with the guests
. . Most of the pieces were sold by the end of the night 9th - Jan & Jim stayed the night
10th - Stephen does some garden chores before hading to Sydney the next day 11th - Stephen arrives in Sydney for some meetings. Another, newer, Polo to drive north Up to a motel near Bonnells Bay, most of the way to Newcastle A morning walk
Then a visit to Avondale University close by in Cooranbong Stephen thought the architecture reflected that in upstate NY (home of Seventh Day Adventists) at this small Adventist run university Back to Randwick and his small hotel 12th -  Stephen suspected art is not all he absorbed at the gallery on Friday night
So his meetings (and dinner with pal Zolton) cancelled & a couple of days isolated working from his room. Fortunately he did not pass on COVID to the Provost & VC at Avondale. 13th - enough hotel isolation. Still staying isolated, Stephen returned the rental car to Newcastle Airport. His savior, Paulie, met him 5 minutes after he arrived. A 9+ hour drive for her! 14th - After a 4 hour drive they crashed overnight in a room at Kirsten and Toni Dunlop's holiday house in Woolgoolga just past Coffs Harbour (arrived late & left before the kids woke up) They had a quick look around the town
Spotted some locals Zipped past the Sikh temple, and headed of on the 4-5 hour drive home. 15  th - Paulie tested positive the day she drove south. So it was isolation at home Paulie's great-niece Claudie delivered some shopping after her work. Truly a great niece
17th - coincidentally Olivia and boyfriend James tested positive 2,000km away in Adelaide! So we chatted to those who had recently recovered from COVID in Oxford 23rd - Out of isolation and paddling around Torrens Island in St Kilda Aquatic Reserve (to the north of Adelaide city centre) . Might have COVID, but still has his sense of balance (but perhaps not common sense)
24th - Jim & Jan were also just out of isolation (thought to have contracted the virus the same time Stephen & Paulie did). It was worth a drive to celebrate. Not wanting to tire Jan  Jim out, it was just a quick lunch visit. . Pretending to ignore each other
25th - Meanwhile in the garden next door to James & Keno in Oxford... But in  their garden, Ms Fox brings junior along "Stay away from my baby fella!" 30th - time to do some restoration work.

Then a cycle to town. The last hill is always the hardest. Especially such a steep one. Nick is staying a few days whilst he looks for a house to rent and Béatrice comes to dinner. She heads to France (Reunion) to stay with family to start a new chapter in her life after loosing Jonathan.
