February 2021 River Boat Expedition

- Return to Home Page -

The gang got together to catch up with Jon and Bea who were missed at Christmas care of COVID restrictions and work. Louise's sister Michele joined the crew as did Tony Donovan and friend Sharon. A failedAtherton/Donovan expedition to chart the waters from Brunswick Heads to Mullimbimby failed in 2014 (shown here) but succeeded this time. On the return leg we attempted - but failed - to climb to the abandoned rail bridge that was part of the successful 2010 cross deserted line expedition of 2010 (seen here).
