Brisbane had a snap COVID lockdown. Olivia had plenty to do in COVID free (mostly) South Australia as did James and Keno in Oxford. Olivia visited her pal in Hobart, Paulie and Stephen spent 4 nights at sea with Clan Dunlop (and Skipper Peter) and Nick worked at his pal's factory in Byron Bay living out of his camper van. Starting the month under a short COVID lockdown means time for more house chores . And working from home (thinking cap on), not a big deal The neighbours, on the other hand, had kids at Indooroopilly High which means they were in quarantine at home so we collect their shopping and deliver
August 12 - Olivia and Diana go to a funky lightshow in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens . . And then North Adelaide the next day
...to this immersive gig Chilling at home. Lottie visit 15 Aug - an afternoonn visit to Storm, Daniel and John. Storm had her Titre De Sejour approved based on her Brit passport but has to get to France in by January for biometrics .
. 19 Aug - Olivia flies from Adelaide to visit pal Lauren in Hobart for her birthday . Off to MONA
. . whilst in Brisbane it's much more sedate In Oxford it's time to prepare the soil for winter at Keno and Jame's new allotment
. . . Aug 25 - In Oxford a birthday gift to James dries the air and makes it possible to rehang the PNG tapa that was getting mould
He gets himself a good camera for work And to capture locals in action. 25 Aug - It's up north for Paulie and Stephen to Airlie Beach. Heading here
Day one is work for STephen . Whilst Paulie keeps an eye on their kids, Toni and Kirsten get a 3 hour briefing on their charter yacht "Tikkity Boo" Supply Officers Jan  and Paulie have a break after doing the shopping for the upcoming 4 nights at sea
One last meal on land 27 August - Ship's cook takes the supplies to Shari and Pete's boat "Ambition" light lunch prepared by the logistics/supply officers .

and then drinks The Skipper takes Jan, Jim and Shari to the Annerley Dunlop's Catamaran . 28 August - permission to come aboard granted
Skippers plan the next mission Whist the junior crew unwind : Pauline Turnbull The guys boat in. Stephen swam to shore. But bare feet didn't go well as a previous cyclone dumped coral everywhere. Paulie brought shoes so the guys went climbing whilst the team snorkelled

Is that Toni and Kirst? Ye- past Hook Island Whitehaven Beach. Anchored for the night. The Skipper swam ashore in the morning for a wee 5km run along the beach Down to Nara Inlet on Hook Island - super calm but no swimming - a Hammerhead shark beeding area.
Which doesn't stop us catching dinner (before the sharks do) . Clan Dunlop (and Paulie) head ashore to walk to the Ngaro rock art decorating a once-hidden cave. An ancient indegenous site. And back again
Ship's cooks prepares the meal for the crew 29 August- transferring grandparents Jan & Jim to spend the day aboard "Tikkity Boo" And couple one ... ... and couple two head off again.
30 Aug - after a night anchored off the beach, another ship transfer And the crew of Ambition join them for a few nibbles... ... and laughs Then it's off again. Past Hamilton Island
At the helm whilst the skipper and First Mate handle the sails (Code zero as low winds) : Pauline Turnbull . Back to calm Nara Inlet but the weather gets ugly A visit to Tikkity Boo requires wet weather gear for the return
Without the outboard. 2 Trips required and Stephen's turn to row 31 August - time to head back to port with 28 knot (52km) winds and rain It's best to stay on deck - below is very rocky
. Back onshore at Airlie Beach. Dinner out September 1 - And a calm start to September
Jan and Jim stay one more night and wave off Paulie and Stephen... ... as they wait for their shuttle to the airport
