June 2019 - part 1.

June 1st - 15th - It's a big month with intracity and international moves underway or imminent.

Paulie prepares to head to France next month whilst hosting guests and working, Olivia lines up new work and plans her trip to next months' wedding, Nick returns to Spain and Elena, and Keno and James pack up their flat with some help from the old man who returned to the northern hemisphere after a short Antiodoean visit in May.

1 Arriving at Heathrow from Oz, Stephen notes that Border Force now let Antipodeans and others use the eGate making Stephen's paid "Registered traveller" access to the EU eGates commonplace...	2 OK. So no more arrival cards etc, but what Border Force hasn't done is added more eGates! 40 minutes to even reach them.	3 Meanwhile in Brisbane, the month kicks off and Paulie joins nephew Toni at Ella's kindy fete
4 .	5 Arriving at the French pad, Stephen notes that the garden needs some work	6 June 2 - back in the village for market day
7 .	8 Stephen takes Daniel on the cave walk	9 .
10 When Paulie arrives on June 5th, she and Stephen move in to Yolande's second floor. An inspection notes that not only is a sink pipe needing reconnecting...	11 ... but underneath has become an avian maternity ward	12 Michael and Stephen head to the river for a glass of something
13 Time to get the garden - and some of it's challenges - under control	14 Hungry snails are removed.	15 The bathroom wall needs some work (the cause damp sorted a year ago, bt it's imapct hasn't been).
16 .	17 Some bathroom humidity tolerant paint	18 And all is well
19 And after a quick tidy up so is the garden	20 June 7 - a planned apero in La Cachette's garden for Daniel & Storm moved to their pad given poor weather	21 June 8th - Nature has gone wild at Yolande's farm.
22 So Stephen heads over on the morning before he heads to England and Ireland	23 Somewhat better	24 But the lads are unimpressed. Rubens is even rude about it
25 June 9th - the gals have a break in Brisbane. Paulie has another Airbnb guest.	26 And in Oxford James and Stephen spend a day in town.	27 Christchurch gardens at their best.
28 Paulie gets some exercise in Brisbane	29 10th - Stephen chills in the BA T5 Heathrow lounge before heading to Dublin for work	30 First stop, Dublin City Uni where he stays for two nights and a couple of meetings
31 .	32 Modest digs... a student room	33 But a room with a lovely (digital) view (200Mbps download speed means a nice long chat with Paulie)
34 12th - a presention at University Colllege Dublin	35 .	36 And the night staying at long time Chateau Higgins. Allen is a UCD lecturer and Stephen attended Mary and Allen's wedding in Dublin 26 years prior! This fox came to say hi.
37 A Blackrock tour	38 Trying for a nice background...	39 ... a background that tried to get to the foreground
40 From a tower built by the Brits to deter Napolean we spot the local bathers.	41 .	42 Stephen has a day to himself. He drives inland to Clonmacnoise county Offaly (Cluain Mhic Nóis in Irish) - founded in 544 by St. Ciarán
43 Looks a lot like a site visited by Nick & Stephen in 1996	44 .	45 .
46 .	47 Then to the town of Trim on the River Boyne.	48 Home of Ireland's largest Anglo-Norman castle.
49 Built by Hugh de Lacy in the late 12th century	50 Meanwhile back in France, Nick arrives and stays a few night in La Cachette before heading back to Spain and Elena.	51 And the village is looking fine
52 Back in Oxford, Stephen helps Keno and James pack up shop. Their new house awaits them! They get the keys on the 17th.
