December 2017... the inbetween bits.

Apart from Olivia's graduation, her 23rd birthday, and Christmas, quite a bit went on in AthoTurnbull Brisbane HQ in December. The same could be said for James & Keno's Oxford base, Elena and Nick's Barcelona HQ (may not be able to say "Spain" much longer?), and indeed across the ditch in  Aotearoa. Paulie's brother Pete was on the Kiwi Honours list ... see below. We were also delighted to host Michael who arrived from France for an Antipodean stay.

5th - Stephen is at Uni Southern Qld in Toowoomba for a conference and catches up with old pal Patrick Walsh who now works fro Echo360 10th Dec - warm in Brisbane, but James gets a cold snap in Oxofrd Christchurch looking tres pretty Stephen hard at work
16th Dec - Michael arrived from France on the 13th ... so it's catch up time . . : Michael Docherty, Owen Traynor, Dr Denise Traynor
17th Dec - Decorating the Christmas "tree" . : Olivia Turnbull . Evening drinksin Brisbane
18th Dec - Daytime exploring in hometown Barcelona. Nick & Elena Check out Casa Battlo . 18th - Stephen notices a stuck galah at 5:05 am en route to the train at Southbank ... so releases him and pedals onwards to work (checked on the way home...he didn't make it... suffered from shock)
Stephen's colleages regroup for a wee drink as the year starts to wind up 19th - the gals visit Genevieve - the new addition to Clan Dunlop 20th - to work via UQ and Park Road station today Having an office to himself, the bike lives indoors today. Tres casual
23rd - Docherty lads resting up after an exhausting day 23rd - meanwhile Nick & Elena rest up after heading north to St Antonin . Exploring the village
. La Halle inhabitant 29th Dec - After a few introductory bike rides at the Sunshine Coast, the gals try out busier paths in Brisbane .
29th Dec, 8:00 pm. Snake interrupts the Batican II meeting in the fig tree and both fall to the ground wth a thump But Stephen unravelled the mess to give Bat Boy a second chance at life. 30th Dec - The next morning Paulie hears that another fly-boy, brother Peter, is on the NZ 2018 honours list .
Nice NZ Herald story Co-pilot Sammy 30th Dec - a delay in Toulouse (@ the Basilica of St Sernin) means the guys can check out the city.
Not exactly planned (the bus was meant to be the night before!) The guys also had a rough time at Caussade station - potentially violent drunks.
