We decided only that day to have a few folks over. Clan Traynor had moved to Terry's the day before. Charlie was briefly visting from the UK and was still resident at the AthoTurnbull resort. Joining us were Maryann and Phil Long (their first Aussie New Year having recently moved from Boston) and Pax and Pam. The timing was good- a new fridge was delivered just in time to cool down for festivities. The night evolved into an attempt to try to show Charlie the joys of single malt (after a failed attempt to do so post 25 beers at the beer olympics). Despite Phil's lovely Macallan, we failed to excite his palate as some below shots illustrate.
