Christmas 2008

This year the AthoTurnbull clan were without Nick (in Chile) and James (in Oxford). But Christmas regulars, the Traynors, were around. Last year we spent Christmas at their place in the UK. So all in all it was a quieter gig than usual - other parts of the Atherton clan now live out of town (Jon and Asako are in Singapore) and some (Chris and Louise) were at Stradbroke Island for Christmas. Clan Dunlop (Shari and the kids) did drop in, but were headed up to the Sunshine Coast to be with Jan and Jim.
Owen and Denis are moving back to Australia (doesn't seem that long ago that they left) and stayed with us for a few days before moving to Terry's place- alas they brought the flu with them from England, so it was best to stay away from Terry.
All good fun- Paulie cooked up a storm and Stephen had recovered enough from the Beer Olympics to appreciate it.
